Friends of Spud Wood

Friends of Spud Wood (FoSW) work in Spud Wood, Lymm to support The Woodland Trust with their management of the site. We run a number of different groups and activities. If you want to join our mailing list to find out more and to be kept informed please email us at hello@spudwood.org.uk

Our activities include:

Woodland Wednesdays - is a weekly group undertaking woodland and meadow management in the wood.
Ad hoc volunteering activities - check out the What's on page for more details of planned events.
Wood Allotments - a scheme for group members to fell trees in the wood and take the wood home to season and burn.
Community Events - check out the What's on page for more details of planned events.
Carving and other projects - we have a range of Walking Sticks for sale. These have been carved by Wayne, one of our volunteers, using seasoned from hazel from Spud Wood.
